THE COMPLEX SIMPLICITY OF LOVE.

This emotion, this feeling, this sensation, this “thing” called LOVE,

Has soo many definitions, descriptions and depictions,

Yet none does justice to its true meaning or what it’s meant to be,

Well, I can’t give you any definition for it,

Maybe you can,

Or maybe you can’t,

Many have found everlasting joy and peace through love,

Many have also found sorrow and torture through this same love,

It  looks soo simple to show,

But difficult to express,

Maybe you can tell me why,

Or maybe you can’t,

Some discover it whiles looking for something else,

Whiles some still can’t find it after searching for years,

It can come all at once,

Or it can take time to manifest,

Maybe you can tell me why it’s so,

Or maybe you can’t,

Some look for it to complete their lives,

Whiles some also need it to begin their lives,

You can find it where you least expect it,

Or where you mostly expected it,

Maybe you can tell me why it does that,

Or maybe you can’t,

Some find it with family,

Some find it with friends,

Some find it with lovers,

And some find it in solitude,

Maybe you can tell me why,

Or maybe you can’t,

Some find satisfaction in love,

Some also find fulfillment in love,

Others find forgiveness in love,

Some too, revenge,

Maybe you can tell me why,

Or maybe you can’t,

This write-up may be all love is,

Or it may be nothing compared to what it is,

We may never know,

Maybe I can tell you more about it,

Maybe you can also add a few things,

Or maybe we can’t at all,

We can never understand how something so simple,

Turns out to be a complex maze,

Well, let’s continue to mind our own businesses,

And pray we discover the beautiful and simple side of this thing called LOVE.
